  • How the Wireless Solar Driveway Alarms are set-up to work.

19 June at 23:02 from atlas

Found on our website http://goo.gl/26IsZv on the products page are the JNSTAR wireless solar driveway alarm systems. Visit this page for information.

These are set up with  two wireless solar beams placed up to 20 metres apart on poles which are placed opposite each other at the entrance of a driveway or gateway. These beam units are solar powered and when activated by movement of a person or vehicle, send a wireless signal to a powered receiver unit set up in the house, office, or workshop. This can be placed up to 500 m from the beams at the drive entrance.

The receiver gives off a beeping alert for 20 seconds once the beams are activated by a vehicle or person.

A receiver unit can have four beams covering four entrances or boundaries. An alarm siren or light can be added if required.

Another option instead of the receiver is to use an auto dialer, which can then dial up to six phone numbers or send a text to a cell phone if you are away from the property. It also has a remote which can activate the alarm as you leave or enter the property. This option is about $100 more.

The beams can come in distances of 20, 60, 100, or 200 metres. Longer distances are for longer boundaries.
